Random Bits

The cute:
While I was brushing my teeth, gargling with Listerine, and taking some Chroloseptic, Bucket obviously took umbridge with my apparent lolly gagging.
So here's her take on it:

"And it came to pass that Mommy was not listening to her husband."

A flair for the dramatic, much? NoooooYES.

We're still fighting the good fight against pink eye. Michael and I seem to have dodged the bullet. (knock on wood)
My sore throat STARTED to ebb last night.
And now it's back with a vengence. So I'm pulling all the stops I can. We're talking GERM WARFARE, baby.

I'm popping garlic pills (natural anitbiotic), monolaurine (natural antiviral), ibuprofen, zinc lozenges, vitamin c ... liquids (mostly hot. However, the V8 Hot & Spicy was a good touch.).
And ... well, I'm going in between the burning throat of DOOM AND DESTRUCTION OF ALL THAT IS GOOD AND PURE ON THIS EARTH or just feeling like figurative poo on a stick.

And I swig NyQuil before bed. I still grimace. Since I'm not good at taking it. Even though it's the cherry-menthol one. Not the green one.
(Anyone else notice how nasty the DayQuil is? It's gross.)

But, hey, I've also been working on laughter therapy ... since laughter is the best medicine, right? ... At least it doesn't taste all gross.
So I got caught up in my comics. And now I'm working on the new episode of Glee.

Gotta go. It's back on.

I hope you feel better soon, my dear friend. If you really want your sore throat to go away, drink lemon juice or Apple Cider Vinegar. It'll sting for about 30 seconds and then, you'll feel SOOOO much better. Anyway, that's what I do, and it's amazing. Hugs to you! xxoo
