30 Things to do Before I Turn 30

Okay, I have just over two years ... but, knowing me and my penchant for procrastination, I really should get crackalackin'.

  1. Get into a daily habit of personal prayer. And pray over all meals.
  2. Ditto with the personal habit of daily scripture STUDY. (It's not called scripture skimming. And I need to remember that.)
  3. Start (and maintain) some kind of exercise regime.
  4. Set up a schedule for the kidlets -- so they have a time when they KNOW that we will work on school-type stuff.
  5. Take a pottery class.
  6. Take a chemistry class -- I used to be able to balance chemical equations. What happened?
  7. Read more classics.
  8. Have a facial at a day spa.
  9. Try waxing. Professionally. (Tried a cold wax strip THING once. NEVER AGAIN.)
  10. Get back into a habit of DOING housework -- Once I was totally on the FlyLady wagon. The house looked great. My husband felt loved (hey, a clean house is one thing in his love language. Crazy, I know! But I married him and want him to be happy.) ... It'd be good to get back in that habit again.
  11. Write. Maybe I could try writing a novel. Or my memoirs. But I need to write.
  12. Learn to SCUBA dive.
  13. Take a dance class with Michael. I like dancing ... and I barely do it anymore.
  14. Take the kids swimming.
  15. Go on a family vacation.
  16. Go to Hawai'i.
  17. See the Aurora Borealis.
  18. Get health insurance.
  19. Buy lingere that makes me feel amazing when I wear it.
  20. Make a souflee. Just so I can say that I've done it.
  21. Learn to knit.
  22. Sew something that doesn't fall apart.
  23. Attend my high-school reunion.
  24. Learn Gaelic.
  25. Learn basic Japanese.
  26. Sing in the Church choir ... I think the kids are getting old enough to do without that nap.
  27. Play with Play-doh more often.
  28.  Fingerpaint with Bruise and Bunny.
  29.  Perform in some theatrical. It's been a while since I've done anything.
  30.  Get our rooms painted in the house.
Let's see how well I do at getting these things done. And if I don't get EVERYTHING done in the next two years ... well ... I'll still be alive. And have soem goals to work towards.

Okay, it is totally my goal in life now to help you pass off at least ten of those things...

I do several of those things all the time (like the swimming and facials and stuff) so I am just going to start kidnapping you.

And here is the law: when I call and kidnap you, you can NOT say no if I mention, 'the list.
